Young Rider School Holiday Pony Day Camps

Young Rider Day Camps are suitable for riders aged +7yrs with their own horse or pony.

Riders do need to be able to handle/tack up their own pony and ride at a minimum in walk and trot off the lead rein. If this isn’t the case they will require a competent leader/helper to attend with them.

Camp days consist of 2 rides a day, in the morning there will be a group Flatwork with Poles session. In the afternoon there will be either a Gymkhana, Clear round jumping (SJ or Mini XC) or a Ridden Show session with opportunities to get a rosette.

There are 2 sessions each day on the ground developing care, knowledge and stable management and working towards a Rosette/Certificate  Award.

There is also a session at the end of each day learning about Pony Wellbeing and an opportunity to learn some practical Pony Massage techniques. This workshop is divided into 3 sections so a different part of the ponies body will be covered on each of the pony day’s.

Pony camps days run from 10am to 4.30pm.

Each camp has a Theme or Topic and riders will be awarded a certificate if they attend at least 2 out of 3 of the Pony Day Camps.

Please ensure that riders come in with their own lunch and refreshments plus sun cream applied before arrival.

Hats must be worn at all times by under 10year old riders.

You can either attend one or all 3 days. Individual days are £75pp – All 3 days £200pp

Non refundable/transferable deposit of £75 required to secure space for all 3 days or £25 per day. To be paid at the time of booking.

Full remaining payment for camp must be made 6 weeks prior to the start.

If payment is not made then your space may be filled.
