Blended Learning – Emergency First Aid at Work Training

Outline

This course can save you both time and money!! Blended learning is now an accepted means by which workplace first aid training can be delivered. This course has been adapted to suit equestrians and is in line with the Health and Safety (First Aid) regulations 1981.

Location & Duration

The practical session is 3 hours – held at Jewels Stables, Arundel on Monday 20^th May 13:00 – 16:00.

The online top up (approx 3 hours) is undertaken at a time to suit you after the practical session – this needs to be completed within 3 weeks of the practical session.

Contents Classroom – First Aid Priorities, Managing Incidents, Care of an Unconscious Casualty, Basic Life Support and Choking, AED

Online – Causes of Unconsciousness, Control of Bleeding, Burns and Scalds, Fractures, Dislocations, Sprains and Strains, Shock, First Aid Kits, Rules & Regulations

Other details

£85pp this includes both the face to face and online elements, an electronic manual and certificate.

Certificate is issued upon completion of online content.

You will also have FREE access to the online refresher course – recommended annually by the HSE.

Entry criteria: This course is open to all.
