Young Rider School Holiday 3 Day Camps

Young Rider Camps are suitable for riders aged 7yrs and up to 17yrs from beginner to advanced with their own horse or pony. Riders are grouped into similar levels.

Riders do need to be able to handle/tack up their own pony and ride at a minimum in walk and trot off the lead rein. If this isn’t the case they will require a competent leader/helper to attend with them.

Camp days consist of 2 rides a day, be that hacking, flatwork, polework, jumping or games and 2 or 3 other sessions on the ground developing care, knowledge and stable management.

On the afternoon of the final day we run a competition with parents welcome to spectate and awards ceremony afterwards.

Pony camps days run from 9.30am to 4pm. Ponies are welcome to stay over in stables or small paddocks. Please bring hay, feed, bedding and muck out equipment.

Each camp has a Theme or Topic and riders will be awarded a certificate.

There is the option to camp over on site Friday night, provided that a parent is staying over as well, all the family are welcome. We will get Fish and Chips (please note this isn’t included in the price) and have a camp fire. We can also head down to the beefeater for breakfast (please note this isn’t included in the price)

Please ensure that riders come in with their own lunch and refreshments plus sun cream applied before arrival.

Hats must be worn at all times by under 10year old riders.

Non refundable/transferable deposit of £100 required to secure space. To be paid at the time of booking.

Full remaining payment for camp must be made 8 weeks prior to the start.

If payment is not made then your space may be filled.
