A full day focused on understanding the anatomy, biomechanics and dysfunctions of the pelvis and its relationship to the rest of the body, along with techniques aimed at assessing and rebalancing the structures.

Held at Jewels Stables, Arundel on Monday 19th August 2024

Arrivals from 9am with a 09:30 start and 16.30pm finish.

Anatomy of the pelvic region: muscles, nerves, joints and fascia
Biomechanics of the pelvic region: the spine, the sacroiliac, the hips and the stifles.
Common dysfunctions of the pelvic region
How to assess the pelvic region and visualise its dysfunction in the body
Techniques to rebalance the pelvic region.

£150pp this includes the days training, a handout and CPD Certificate of Attendance.

**Please note** Spaces are limited to just 8 people to offer more practical supervision and individual attention.

Please bring your own lunch and mug, water bottle etc. Hot & Cold refreshments included.

There is a local Coop and Garage within 5 mins from the venue.

Louise Mauferon Vernet

My name is Louise Mauferon Vernet. I’m a Harry Potter fan, I love a good chai latte and I’ve been passionate about horses my whole life. It’s this passion that lead me to qualify as an Equine Osteopath over 7 years ago, and it’s this passion that still leads every decision I make in my work today A few years ago I started to notice a pattern that I couldn’t ignore: the way we generally understand riding, schooling and training horses is really poor, and this is damaging our horses’ bodies. This realisation lead to years of personal research into different training approaches, trying to understand what builds equine bodies and what breaks them, the differences between the two and how we can do more of the building and less of the breaking. Sharing what I have discovered and understood is now the main focus of my work and mission. I want as many people as possible to understand what good training looks like so that they can move away from hurtful practices and instead build their horse’s bodies for longterm soundness, comfort and strength!
