Clinical Expertise & Qualifications
My path began over 25 years ago with foundational training in human sports massage, which first sparked my lifelong interest in soft tissue and anatomy.
Advanced Practical Training (CPD):
I provide a tailored approach to meet your horse’s individual needs and am a registered member of the International Association of Animal Therapists (IAAT), a graduate of the Healing Animals Organisation (MHAO) and the Animal Rehabilitation & Health Academy (ARHA). Fully insured with Balens Ltd
I was very impressed with the energy treatment Jewels carried out on my horse, Bart. She has a very calm nature about her and my horse trusted her & was happy to be treated immediately. Jewels came out and gave honey a massage. Honey really seemed to enjoy and relax during the session. I had a lesson a couple of days later and I felt like I was floating on her. I’m definitely going to ask Jewels to put us down as a regular..the results are amazing Honey seems so much more supple. I would highly recommend 100%
Jewels seriously worked her magic on Bella, our highly strung, very impatient chestnut mare. The results were pretty instant, with her licking her lips, yawning and sighing within the first few minutes. However the most wonderful outcome is her general demeanour as the following and subsequent days Bells becomes the most chilled out, content and happy horse. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
I had treatments on both my horses at the weekend, Jewels was really professional and the boys really relaxed into it, my older horse is now moving more freely and forward. I would recommend Jewels and will be having follow up treatments next month for both of them
My pony was taken back from a bad full loan home and he was very distressed. On his first treatment it was touch and go due to the pain in his pelvis. He would not even let jewels touch him his discomfort was so bad. I was considering x- rays and leaving him as a field ornament. But after his 3rd therapy session, he was a different horse ! I could even ride him again 😃 he is happy for anyone to touch him and is the happiest I have seen him in a long time !!
I can't find word good enough to describe how amazing it was to be able to watch Jewels work with Blue. He had a pretty rubbish start to life and it took him a while to understand at the beginning, but oh my goodness after that first treatment, he knew and what a difference!!
Jewels is amazing and very knowledgeable. She has helped my anxious pony a lot. He loves his sessions and always guides Jewels to where he wants work done. I have never seen him yawn and relax as much as when he is being treated.
